Our Kurhaushotel Bad Salzhausen offers not only its own restaurant „Johann’s“ but also a modern bar „just-us“ to enjoy your evenings in the right atmosphere. Our restaurant serves culinary delights made out of fresh and regional products created with passion for detail. Next to seasonal and local dishes our guests may also find international specialties on the menu as well. A carefully selected wine menu will make your culinary experience perfect. In our bar we serve fine cognacs, good rums, aromatic whiskeys, classic cocktails and much more. In the modern atmosphere with lounge we offer different tastings on request and depending on group size. We can`t wait to welcome you into our bar and restaurant!

Lunch: Sa-Su 12 – 2pm
Evenings: Mo.-Sa. 18:00 – 21:00 pm (closed on sundays)

Our fusion-bar just-us is the ideal place to finish off your day. Besides, here we offer regular tastings or you may also book an exclusive tasting for your group e.g. our famous gin-tasting or our schnaps-tasting.

Closed on Sundays

Wednesday: Coffee-Break „just us“

Every first Friday of the month from 17:00 pm: After Work Party on our terrace. Start your weekend in a cozy ambience, with Live-Music and a themed menu containing all sorts of drinks and snacks.

Taste the different seasons

Our head chef, Sascha Krupp, is the crreative mind behind the culinary calender. We would like to spoil you all year round with seasonal delights – with asparagus in spring, with chanterelles and game in autumn, with picnic baskets in summer and with roasted goose during the winter months. Our tastings in our bar „just-us“ are quickly fully booked, so do not hesitate to make a booking now. If you would like to book an exclusive tasting in a group, please just ask and make a booking.

For a good start into your day

Our bright breakfast room welcomes you with a high-class breakfast buffet. Sustainability and regionality are very important for us – even for our everyday breakfast. Following the Castlewoods values „nature – tradition – family” we try to avoid using plastic if possible, to not waste food and to buy our products from local suppliers. In this way we do not only try to bring our region closer to you but also remain true to our principles.

Did you know you can order a picnic basket at our hotel, filled with regional highlights? Depending on the weather, you may make yourself comfortable on a blanket opposite the hotel in the historical park. Please just ask us, we will gladly assist.
